The department is housed in the new Building and Civil Engineering complex, located between the Mechanical Engineering Workshops and Ladies hostels. The department has qualified training personnel, with a student population of 450. The population is projected to surpass 1000 by the end of the year 2023.

The department has three workshops which are well equipped with the necessary tools and Equipment for training and Production. The workshops includes Plumbing, Masonry and Carpentry. The department is accredited to offer Diploma, Certificate and artisan courses.
